Who We Are
PhotonNet Internet Solutions was registered as a Close Corporation in South Africa in November 2003 by its South African Director. The company was born after she was trained and certified in 2002 in Hawaii, USA by its mother company Photon.Net, USA -- which was created in 1996 and has since gone through major expansion over time, constantly evolving to provide more services and create a larger network. The idea behind registering Photon.Net in South Africa was to connect like-minded people, from creative and business avenues alike, in conscious commerce, creating an internet community for all South Africans. Liza was very intrigued by Photon.Net's overall vision, that of fostering a community through an internet hub, where integrous principles were upheld to promote clear communication.
Certain design projects are subcontracted to other qualified creative designers and programmers who are in alignment with Photon.Net's vision. A local team has been birthed. Our international team has over 40 years of combined internet and programming experience, including staff members who have worked for major telecom providers and "Fortune 500" consulting firms. Our vast understanding of internet technologies and internet architecture allows us to evaluate the best development path for any client, and provide them with web development that will be fully portable to other servers in the future should the need arise to change servers. Photon.Net USA has a proven track record of maintaining continual 24/7 server uptime to our clients for 8 years -- with a solid backing like that, we cannot go wrong!
Having done much personal hands-on community work in rural areas and townships in the area of HIV/AIDS, the Director places the company's social responsibility high on its agenda, sponsoring design projects and web hosting for disadvantaged groups and individuals. A percentage from each job completed is contributed to alleviating the living conditions of selected community centers who house and look after orphaned children and babies affected by HIV/AIDS.
